Gotcha!

Our young men and young women are playing Gotcha! It is a fun week. Rochelle and I are both in the youth organization, so we get to play too. Everyone has a secret target, whom they attempt to get with a squirt gun before next Tuesday. My target is. . . well, I can't say, this is a public BLOG after all. But I am going to get her...I mean him. After I get my target, my target's target becomes my target. That was too many "target" in a single sentence.

As for other things, we are now the proud owners of two white, fluffy, kittens. I have always liked cats. I guess that's the result of having Kitty C, a Siamese tom cat, sleep with me in my crib. I still remember the day when Kitty C didn't ever come back home, but I digress. It was my idea to get the cats. The two things I have to watch out for are the clawing of the furniture and the hair flying about and sticking to my black pants. I can deal with those, I think. We have a good vacuum (which is currently broken) and we can always get the cats de-clawed.

On to my son. Christian is seven, and for the most part is quiet and shy. Until he gets mad, which seems to happen every afternoon. At that point, he hits, screams, rips things up, throws things, dumps out garbage cans, chases his sisters around the house with dangerous objects, and so forth. By the time I get home, it has usually passed, and he falls back into the quiet, shy boy again. I hope he outgrows the tantrums, and to a lesser degree, the shyness. Over all, I like him, and think we will keep him.

Now, I am off to get or "gotcha" my target. Maybe. Or, I am going to go to bed, because it is too late to get anybody on a school night.
